- Wear a comfortable dress.
- Again with shoes and bear in mind your dress is altered to your heels
- Don’t meet people on your wedding day
- Dead hour in between breakfast and reception
- Confetti Paper> Petals. Petals that vary in size and colour. If you can’t use confetti, or bubbles- but use the guns
- Print your photos. End of.
- Grooms and people in shirts- have a spare one to change into for the evening.
- Spinning napkins, but remain seated
- Call everyone onto the dancefloor at the end of the first dance
- Please practise putting on your bow ties and button holes.
- Repurpose your ceremony decor to the reception- it’s cost effective and ties the day together nicely
- Golden hour- be mindful that this can be very temperamental. So 1- know when golden hour is and work it into your schedule if possible and 2, be ready to go when the sun is best- I promise it is worth it

- Only honour the traditions you want to- remember it’s just peer pressure from dead people
- Trust your suppliers, and make sure you’re happy to work with them and not just have them supply you!
- Don’t fear the rain- just stock up on clear brollys
- Set a budget, be realistic, both what things cost and how much you can afford
- Decide what’s important to you and stick to that
- Be ready and in the dress an hour before you need to leve
- For groups, nominate the a person from either side of the party that knows the family
- If you self conscious for about having your photo taken, know where you can go for some privacy- the other option is to steal you for 15 minutes as your guests go in for dinner
- Speeches, there’s an art to a good speech, 10 minutes maximum, also love a joint speech
- Set aside evening food and cake for yourselves to take away
- Remember to enjoy the day, take time and be present.
